ABOUT THE ROLE:

Summary:

We are a young, dynamic family dedicated to leading an intentional life that emphasizes the  importance of relationships and education. Our family includes a 3-year-old daughter who will  be attending early learning childcare four days a week and a newborn son. 

Our home, offices, and child’s ELC are all conveniently located within 1km of each other. We  have been fortunate to have a wonderful full-time nanny/educator for the past three years, and  we are now looking for a new team member to support our family as we continue to grow. This is  a unique opportunity to work with a family that values education and intentional living. 

You will have the autonomy to apply your skills in shaping child development in a nurturing  environment.

We are seeking a caring and experienced full-time House Manager/ Family Assistant who is  passionate about early childhood education and is interested in building a long-term  partnership with our family. This role will involve supporting our children's development,  managing household operations, and maintaining open communication with us about our  children’s progress. 


Key Responsibilities

1. Child Development Support: 

  •  Assist in the development of our newborn, including implementing sleep schedules,  engaging in developmental activities, and bottle feeding. 
  •  Support and engage our 3-year-old daughter through entertaining and educational activities.  - Pick her up from ELC (800m away) and manage meal prep and mealtimes. 
  •  Provide regular reports and updates on both children's development to ensure continuity of  care and education.


2. Household Operations: 

  • Assist with household tasks such as laundry drying and folding. 
  •  Manage household administration, including scheduling cleaners, organizing groceries, and  handling mail/post office tasks. 

3. Communication: 

  •  Maintain open and honest communication with us, providing feedback on parenting  practices and discussing developmental strategies. 
  •  Collaborate with us to align our educational values and parenting approaches.

  • experienced in early childcare education and interested in applying developmental practices.

  • prior experience in household operations.

Recruitment Process:

  • Resume Presentation: We assess resumes to determine candidate suitability for client roles.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a interview.

First Interview:

  • Conducted via Zoom by ANA recruiters. 
  • Candidates must present professionally and provide well-considered responses.
  • Post-interview, we will review the session; successful candidates may be invited for a second interview (allow 14 days for communication).


Second Interview:

  • Conducted via Zoom with the Client and ANA recruiters.
  • Candidates will receive anticipated questions  the client may ask  in advance.
  • Professional appearance and a suitable environment are essential for this interview.
  • Feedback will be sought from the client, however this is at the discretion of the client.
  • If the client wishes to proceed, further interviews may be arranged.
  • Following the completion of interviews, offer letters will be issued to successful candidates.
  • Please allow 14 days for this process.
