Summary:

We have a 3-year-old daughter commencing ELC 4 days per week and a newborn son  Our home, office(s), and ELC are all within 1km of each other. Based in Prahran/Toorak

We have been supported by an amazing full-time nanny/educator for the past 3 years, but unfortunately competing interests between her own personal life and her further studies have caused this opportunity to open up.

we are hoping to have someone 4 days a week from Tuesday to Friday 8:00am - 6:30pm , more hours are available if you would like

We travel a few times a year and would like to take out nanny with us. 

We are open to a hourly Salary or a yearly Salary with 1 months holiday a year as we would like long term.

Our current weekend nanny has been with us 3 years and is very happy.

We have seeking to have 2 nannies 1 for during the week and 1 at weekend. We also have a housekeeper. 

We really value education and want to be actively involved and aligned.

We want to improve and grow how we parent and encourage discussion and feedback.

Reports and updates on development so we have continuity across all of us.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with care of Newborn
  • Drop 3 year old to Daycare
  • Household operations
  • Assist with laundry drying and folding
  • Managing house admin (The cleaners schedule, Post Office, groceries etc.)
  • Supporting the development of the newborn.
  • Implementing sleep schedules
  • Development activities
  • Bottle feeding and wind-down.
  • Supporting our 3-year old:
  • Development and entertaining activities
  • Pick up from ELC (located 800m down the road)
  • Meal prep and meal time.

Application Requires

  • experienced in early childcare education and interested in applying developmental practices.
  • Open and honest communication, trust is critical.
  • Caring and thoughtful.
  • Organised and diligent.
  • Experience with 0-5 year old childhood education.
  • Formal childcare education
  • Prior experience in household operations.
  • Working with children check
  • Police Check
  • First Aid
  • 5 x written references that are contactable
  • Car and driver's license
  • Permanent Australian Residency
  • Fully vaccinated

First Interview:

  • Conducted via Zoom by ANA recruiters.

  • Post-interview, we will review the session; successful candidates may be invited for a second interview (allow 14 days for communication).


Second Interview:

  • Conducted via Zoom with the client and ANA recruiters.
  • Candidates will receive anticipated questions from the client in advance.
  • Professional appearance and a suitable environment are essential for this interview.
  • Feedback will be sought from the client. If the client wishes to proceed, further interviews may be arranged, at their discretion.
  • Following the completion of interviews, offer letters will be issued to successful candidates. Please allow 14 days for this process.
