ABOUT THE ROLE:

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable housekeeper to assist with the daily upkeep and management of our household in Dural, Sydney. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working for families and be highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.


Primary Duties:

  • Meal Preparation: Must be a capable cook, with a preference for experience in Asian cuisine.
  • Grocery Shopping & Kitchen Organization: Maintain a well-stocked pantry and fridge, and ensure the kitchen remains clean and tidy.
  • House Cleaning & Maintenance: Vacuum (including areas not covered by robotic vacuums), dust, mop, and clean bathrooms.
  • Laundry & Wardrobe Management: Wash, iron, and organize clothing.
  • Bed & Linen Care: Make beds and change linens regularly.
  • Household Errands: Tasks may include picking up and dropping off dry cleaning, collecting prescriptions, and other essential errands.


Position Details:

  • Full-time, permanent role (5 or 6 days per week)
  • 5-day schedule: Monday to Friday
  • 6-day schedule: Monday to Saturday
  • Work hours:
  • 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (without a break) or
  • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (with a 2-hour break)
  • Applicants must have prior housekeeping experience and a valid driver’s license.

  • Post-interview, we will review the session; successful candidates may be invited for a second interview (allow 14 days for communication).


Second Interview:

  • Conducted via Zoom with the client and ANA recruiters.
  • Candidates will receive anticipated questions from the client in advance.
  • Professional appearance and a suitable environment are essential for this interview.
  • Feedback will be sought from the client. If the client wishes to proceed, further interviews may be arranged, at their discretion.
  • Following the completion of interviews, offer letters will be issued to successful candidates. Please allow 14 days for this process.
