ABOUT THE ROLE:

Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Temporary Maternity Nanny to provide support to a new mother and her baby in Duncraig, Perth. This role is perfect for someone who is nurturing, reliable, and comfortable in a home environment. The primary focus will be on assisting the mother in establishing a calming night routine for the baby and adhering to established feeding schedules.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the mother in creating and maintaining a consistent nighttime routine for the baby to promote better sleep habits.
  • Adhere to the baby’s feeding schedule, ensuring that all feeding times are met with care and attention.
  • Support the mother with general childcare tasks such as diaper changes, dressing, and soothing the baby.
  • Help with light household duties related to the baby, such as sterilizing bottles, preparing meals for the mother, and tidying up the baby’s area.
  • Provide emotional support to the mother, offering assistance and encouragement as she navigates the early days of motherhood.
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for the baby at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with the mother regarding the baby’s needs and any concerns that may arise.


Application Requires

  • experienced in maternity nursing and Post Natal Care.
  • open and honest communication, trust is critical.
  • caring and thoughtful.
  • organised and diligent.
  • experience with 0-5 year old childhood education.
  • formal Maternity education and or as a Midwife
  • prior experience in household operations.
  • working with children check
  • Police Check
  • First Aid, CPR
  • 5 x written references that are contactable
  • car and driver's license


Recruitment Process:

Second Interview:

  • Conducted via Zoom with the client and ANA recruiters.
  • Candidates will receive anticipated questions from the client in advance.
  • Professional appearance and a suitable environment are essential for this interview.
  • Feedback will be sought from the client. If the client wishes to proceed, further interviews may be arranged, at their discretion.
  • Following the completion of interviews, offer letters will be issued to successful candidates. Please allow 14 days for this process.
